Traceability and welfare is paramount in all that we do.
We take our standards above and beyond to make multi-award winning organic dairy products like no other

Our Award-winning Kefir and dairy products are made fresh onsite at our family farm in Gloucestershire within hours, using only organic milk from our own herd of Ladies, who live alongside their own calves as one herd. Letting the natural flavours shine is key to everything we produce onsite at our farm. This is achieved by treating our fresh unhomogenised (but gently pasteurised) organic milk with as much love and care as the ladies, their calves and beautiful farmland who help us to produce it. We know the story behind every drop of our Kefir, Cultured Buttermilk, Cream, Natural yoghurt and Milk (and the story of every one of our ladies who helped us to make it!)

Our Ladies live as one herd, alongside their calves.
Our ‘Sharing Dairy’ system goes way beyond organic standards to meet consumer demands for very high welfare dairy, with many vegan and dairy-free customers choosing to buy our produce.
Our ladies and calves live and grow up as one herd together-all day, every day. Everyone comes in for milking time together, when we milk the excess milk the calves do not want from our ladies to make into our award-winning produce, before they all return to pasture together. This way we ‘Share’ the milk produced -and the calves get priority.
As part of Jess’s Ladies ‘Sharing Dairy’ system our herd is milked 11 times each week – with a mixture of twice and once a day milking. This more relaxed approach has been developed to take any pressure off our ladies, who already live 3-4 times the national average of a dairy cow, whilst producing the finest Jess’s Ladies Organic dairy produce.
