Katie Crunch’s award-winning fudge is lovingly handmade by Kathryn Baker in small batches in her Cotswolds kitchen using Fairtrade sugar, condensed milk and local, organic butter, together with a range of top quality, natural and fresh ingredients, which differ depending on the flavour.
Kathryn started making confectionery eight years ago after finding her grandmother’s old fudge recipe, which she fondly remembers taste-testing as a child. Kathryn turned her passion into a profession in 2014 and has since developed a range of exciting fudge flavours as well as a range of vegan fudgy balls. All made using fresh ingredients with no nasty artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives.
Katie currently has seven flavours of fresh, handmade fudge:
•Classic fudge (Gold Star winner in the Great Taste Awards 2015)
•Crystallised ginger fudge
•Peanut butter fudge with vanilla sea salt (Gold Star winner in the Great Taste Awards 2015)
•White chocolate, tonka bean & sea salt fudge
•Double espresso & walnut fudge (Gold Star winner in the Great Taste Awards 2016)
•Dark chocolate & chilli fudge
•Créme brûlée fudge
Plus exciting seasonal limited editions, such as Salted Treacle in the autumn, White chocolate, lemon & poppy seed and Seeded honey in the summer and three special Christmas flavours.
Katie currently has two varieties of vegan fudgy balls:
• Maple & pecan sticky balls
• Raw cacao & peanut butter balls
