Join us for Apple Day at Stroud Farmers’ Market this Saturday and enjoy a day of apple-filled festivities! Come and watch our juicer in action and try some freshly pressed apple juice; bring your own apples to juice, (don’t forget your container) or try some fresh off the press courtesy of Day’s Cottage.
Visit Day’s Cottage stall to see a fascinating display of over 70 Gloucestershire heritage varieties of apple. The experts at Day’s Cottage will also be on hand to help with apple identification.
Branch out and try some lesser-known varieties of apples at Day’s Cottage, Croft Farm and Coleshill Organic - Ashmead’s Kernel, Howgate Wonder or Lord Lamborn – you may just find a new favourite!
Apple Day is a way to celebrate everybody’s favourite local fruit and with this year’s apple harvest looking bigger and better than ever, there’s plenty to go around!
