Lansdown Pottery

We produce functional and domestic pottery made at our studios in stroud. We make our own glazes that are fired to 1300°c , some work is decorated using brush, sponges and sgraffito work. Some materials are locally found i.e river muds and clays used for slips and glazes.

We sell at the Stroud Farmers market every 1st and 3rd saturday of the month.
    
We produce three main ranges of pottery which we bring to the market including 'Ocean Blue', our most popular range of tableware, Bamboo with each piece hand painted in a Japanese style with slips and Burnt Sienna inspired by the wood fired pottery of France.

If what you want is not on our stall we also sell through the Made in Stroud shop.
     
We run classes for the public, give education and training to local colleges and schools, provide training for people with learning difficulties and we also offer workshop facilities for local craftspeople. For details visit our website www.lansdownpottery.co.uk.
