We are fifth generation dairy farmers producing a range of farmhouse cheeses using milk from our Stroud herd of Friesans.
We sell at Stroud and Nailsworth farmers' markets.
We produce; Cheddar; Double Gloucester with traditional rind; Hooded Monk - a double gloucester - with dark green wax; Single Gloucester - with traditional rind; Leonard Stanley Chedda - with traditional rind also available with dark green wax; Holy Smoked - made using single gloucester recipe, traditionally smoked over oak and beech chippings; Three Virgins - Cheshire style cheese sharp and crumbly;Nypsfield - Fresh cheese named after local village; and Scary Mary - a nypm which escaped and grew old and moldy. Small and strong.
Our cheese is also available from the following local retailers: Pound Farm shop, Over Farm Market, Frocester Fayre Farm shop, Tony's Delicatessan in Kings Stanley, Whiteshill Village Shop, Tortworth Estate Farm Shop, and Local Co-ops. We also supply retailers and caterers.
