The brewery is sited at Newhouse Farm in St Brides , Wentlooge , South Wales which is situated on the coast between Cardiff and Newport . The area is a flat , below sea-level , former marshland and has been designated a site of special scientific interest , stemming mainly from the natural wildlife and bird life that inhabits the area .
The brewery was established in 1999 in a milking parlour which was converted to a facility suitable for brewing beer .

We produce 3 main varieties of ale and then in each variety between 3-8 different beers. Our three varieties are:
Dark Milds/Stouts
Pale and Mild malts , roast barley , flaked barley are the ingredients for these brews . Goldings and/or Fuggles are the hops used.
Stouts normally have higher ABV's - 4.2% to 4.8% or higher , and tend to have more residual non-fermentable sugars , making the beers somewhat sweeter .
Golden Yellow Beers
Ingredients are normally comprised of pale (Halcyon and/or Otter) , mild and crystal malts . Hops are Goldings and/or Fuggles . Ruby coloured Beers
