Where to celebrate summer in Stroud…

Take the kids on an ‘Odyssey, a magical journey’ around Stroud on 8^th & 9^th July at the Stroud Children’s Festival. Incorporating the Festival of Nature, this will be a weekend-long series of workshops, story telling and activities for children and families, celebrating both nature and literature. Celebrate nature all summer long with Stroud Nature 2017. Running until 31^st August, the programme of events brings you a number of activities designed to reconnect people with nature. The highlight is the Festival of Nature on 9^th July which takes place at Stratford Park. (stroudnature.org)

The annual Stroud Show returns to Stratford Park on 15^th July with vintage steam engines, traditional Punch & Judy shows, rare breed displays and a handicrafts and horticultural tent.
