Elsewhere in Stroud – Easter

Stroud is a vibrant community with lots going on all year round. Here’s what we recommend this Easter…

The annual SITE festival (Stroud Valleys Arts Space Contemporary Arts Festival) is taking place throughout April with an exciting programme of artist-led projects based in Stroud. Incorporating music, film, poetry and theatre alongside contemporary visual arts, this a real feast for the arts lover. (1st-31st April, sitefestival.org.uk)

Join crowds of ‘eggsplorers’ in the annual Painswick Playgroup Easter Egg Hunt which takes place around the village of Painswick on Easter Saturday, raising funds for charity. As well as a ‘Children’s Stories’-themed Easter egg trail, there’s a whole lot of fun and games taking place in St Mary’s churchyard. Get down from midday for a cracking good time!
