Held in the picture postcard
town of Stow on the Wold, nestled amongst the Cotswold Hills. The market
is held in the square, around the village green, home of the famous Old
Stocks.
The market boasts a fine range of
produce from the local area, including farmhouse
cheeses, trout from nearby lakes, freshly harvested vegetables ,
wines, apple
juices and ciders, free range eggs, bread and pastries,
and a range of locally reared meats. There is a new game stall in season and plants for the garden. There
are usually around 10 to 12 stalls at this popular monthly market.
